Borrower's Policies in Brief
How can I get a library card?
You can obtain a borrower's card free of charge by filling out a short application and presenting the necessary identification. If you do not have a valid Kansas drivers license showing your current address, please call ahead, and we can tell you the necessary information to bring with you..
What is the charge for library fines?
Following a grace period of one day past the due date, we charge a fine of 15 cents per day for each overdue item.
How many times may I renew an item?
You
may renew most items twice, either in person or via the telephone.
Items which are on reserve for another patron may not be renewed.
Where can I return items?
You may return items which you have checked out either inside the library or at our outside book return, which is located off the north entrance and is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
What happens if I lose my card?
You are responsible for promptly notifying the library of a lost or stolen card and are responsible for all materials checked out to a lost or stolen card that is not reported as such. There is a $1.00 replacement fee for replacement cards.
