Many people find that they have more spare time during the pandemic and have been using it to work on their family history and genealogy research. But at the same time, many are also cautious about visiting the library for advice or guidance.

With our annual Trace Your Line Classes off the calendar, we’re doing the next best thing. Library patrons now can schedule their own free, 20 minute consultation with one of the genealogists on our staff via our new Genealogist Consult service. All consultations will take place on Zoom and can be scheduled by visiting www.macpl.org/consult and filling in the easy online form.
