Library Launches New Website
The McPherson Public Library now has a completely new website, designed to give patrons easy access to and information about all of the library’s many services and resources.
The site provides a wide variety of databases, digital content and downloads, and online learning services. It also includes new features such as increased visibility of library events and programs, easier communications with library staff, and an option for making online payments.
Library Director Steve Read, who designed the new site, noted that it is one of the largest and most complex public library websites in the state. “The McPherson Public Library has a great deal of local history databases and digitized content available for the public online,” He said. “This new site showcases those resources and makes them both easier to access and to use.”
The site also provides the library with a flexible platform for making new online services and technology available to the public in the future. The library encourages everyone to explore the new site at www.macpl.org.
