Early Literacy Events

Birth through 6 years old

Mother Goose Time

Mondays at 9:30 a.m.
Birth to 24 months with caregiver

We spend a fun half hour with stories, rhymes, songs, and plenty of other activities designed to help with your child’s early literacy and motor skills.

Toddler Time

This program includes short stories, puppets, and activities specially designed for children from ages 24 to 36 months.

Preschool Storytime

Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m.
3-6 year olds

Children enjoy books, stories, early literacy activities and rhymes. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their child. The sessions often end with a craft or activity designed to promote literacy and/or motor skills.

Super Special Saturday Storytimes

Our storytimes are making a special appearance on Saturday mornings this summer. Join Miss Jennifer & Miss Liz as the library opens the doors early for these special storytime events.

Any child entering grades 1st-3rd in the fall of 2024 is invited to join us for Library Explorers this summer. We will be celebrating all things adventure this year with a variety of programs offered each day.

What If Puppets

Intrepid explorers Ringo the Dog and Mister Mike are on an epic quest to find the greatest sing along song EVER! Join Ringo and Mike on their adventure as they discover musical favorites like Wheels on the Bus, If You’re Happy and You Know It, and B-I-N-G-O.

 

Audience participation, a cast of curious critters, and engaging puppetry styles will delight audiences of all ages.

Come join the band of Merry Men as Robin Hood protects those less fortunate from the cruel rule of Prince John.

 

Volunteers from the audience are chosen to learn the ways of the Merry Men, like archery, of course, while meeting plenty of puppet friends from the forest throughout the show!
