Library Assistant – Evenings and Weekends

The McPherson Public Library is looking for an energetic part-time Library Assistants for some evening and weekend shifts. This position will average about 20 hours per week depending on the schedule. The primary responsibility is greeting and assisting patrons to locate, checkout and return materials as well as supervising the building and pages. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills; a competence in technology; be energetic and promote excellent customer service to all library users. Starting pay will be $15/hour.

Marketing & Programming Coordinator 

The McPherson Public Library is looking for a creative, highly motivated, and excited Marketing & Programming Coordinator. This position is 30 hours a week and may include some nights and weekends depending on programming. The primary responsibility of this position is to continually improve MPL’s digital and print marketing presence in the community as well as schedule and coordinate all adult programming. Starting pay will be $17/hour.

Circulation Coordinator 

The McPherson Public Library is looking for a well organized, energetic, and motivated Circulation Coordinator. This leader position would be a 40 hours a week, exempt position. The primary responsibility of this position would be to supervise the Library Assistant and Page positions as well as handle any issues that may arise at the circulation desk. Starting pay will be $20/hour.
