Photography by Eldon Clark now in the gallery
Eldon Clark was introduced to the wild side of Kansas at a young age, hunting, fishing, driving the country roads, and storm chasing with his grandparents. A full-time freelance photographer since 2002, Clark is driven to capture the shot: Most vacations are photo road trips to scenic locations, and he often drives all night and sleeps in his vehicle to capture the morning light.
His scenic portfolio includes photographs from Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, as well as England, France, Switzerland, and Italy — and of course, his home state of Kansas. His work appears in magazines, web sites, billboards, brochures, calendars, advertisements, books, album covers, and art galleries.
His show, Wildlife & Wild Weather of Kansas, will be in the library gallery through June 25.
Clark has a Graphic Design degree from Kansas State University and lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Debbie.
